Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the Fifth Open Government Partnership (OGP) Global Summit, held in Tbilisi, on 17-19 July 2018. The Fifth OGP Summit brought together representatives from 96 countries including ministers, members of parliament, local authorities, civil society representatives, researchers and journalists who gathered in Tbilisi to promote their achievements and exchange ideas on how to make governments more transparent, accountable and responsive to citizens.

Mr. Igor Becic, Head of the PABSEC Serbian Delegation, participated on the behalf of the PABSEC, in the Joint High-level Parliamentary Conference entitled “Investments and Trade Facilitation in the Western Balkans”, held in Belgrade, on 12-13 July 2018. This Conference was hosted by the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and co-organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
During 7 – 11 July 2018, the PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Otari Danelia, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, Mr. Ramaz Nikolaishvili, Vice-Chairman of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee and Member of the PABSEC Georgian Delegation, and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 27th Annual Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) held at the seat of the German Bundestag, in Berlin.
On the occasion of the Summer School on Modern Integration Processes, organised by the Network for Developing European Studies in the Caucasus, which is an Erasmus Jean Monnet Network of higher education institutions, designed in order to enhance the level of the European Studies in the Caucasus Region and hosted by the Yeditepe University in Istanbul, a group of academicians and students of several universities, paid a study visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat, on 9 July 2018.
