The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Symeon Kedikoglou, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Hellenic delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 41st Meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the BSEC Member States, which took place in Athens, on 13 December 2019.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General participated in the Meeting of the BSEC Committee of Senior Officials, which was held in Athens, on 11-12 December 2019.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated to the Conference on “Confidence Building in the Black Sea Region”, which was organized by the International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), in cooperation with the Peace Research Institute Frankfurt (PRIF), in Athens, Greece, on 9 December 2019. On the same day, the PABSEC delegation paid a visit to the Ministry of Tourism of the Hellenic Republic and met with the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Manos Konsolas.
The International Centre for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS), the OSCE Special Representative and Coordinator for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings and the Office of the National Rapporteur on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Hellenic Republic, jointly organized the Conference “Enhancing Anti-Trafficking Response in the Black Sea Region”, in Athens, on Monday 2 December 2019, within the framework of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office. The PABSEC International Secretariat was represented by the PABSEC Deputy Secretary General Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis.

H.E. Mr. Cha Kon Il, Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Bulgaria, paid a visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul on 28 November 2019 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General. Mr. Kim Chol Min, First Secretary in the Embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Sofia also participated in the meeting. Mrs. Pavlina Lozanova, Secretary of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee also participated in the Meeting.

The 50th Plenary Session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS was held in St. Petersburg on 22 November 2019, at the headquarters of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States - the Tavricheskiy Palace. Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, the PABSEC Secretary General represented the PABSEC in this Meeting. The gathering was attended by the heads of the IPA CIS parliamentary delegations, parliamentarians of the CIS countries, representatives of the CIS Executive Committee, partner international organizations, diplomatic corps, heads of executive and legislative authorities of St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region and other honourable guests.

The 54th Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly began its work on 20 November 2019. Parliamentary delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Moldova, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine take part in it. Also the representative of the Hellenic BSEC Chairmanship-in-Office, the Secretary General of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat, the Secretary General of the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), the Director General of the International Center for Black Sea Studies (ICBSS) and the Secretary General of the Union of Road Transport Associations of the BSEC Member States (BSEC- URTA), PABSEC Special Representatives participate in the Session.
