Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the online parliamentary meeting organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the UN Women, entitled ”What it will take to reach gender parity in political participation in a post COVID - 19 world”, on 23 March 2021.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the Water Days events, organized virtually by the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), on 22-23 March 2021.
On 22 March 2021, Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, and Mr. Serdar Tabanca, Member of the Board of Directors, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The 56th Meeting of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial, Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee was held online on 17 March 2021 with the technical support of the PABSEC International Secretariat. National delegations from Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine took part in the Meeting. The Meeting was chaired by Mr. Petar Kanev, Vice-Chair of the Committee (Bulgaria).
