Ms. Milena Ljubinkovic, Secretary of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee took part in several meetings of the BSEC Working Groups organized during 16-18 November 2021.
The PABSEC Delegation composed of Mr. Lorant - Zoltan Sas, PABSEC Vice -President, Head of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation, Mr. Igor Becic, Head of the PABSEC Serbian Delegation and Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the observation mission for parliamentary and presidential elections in Sofia (Republic of Bulgaria) on 14 November 2021. The Delegation was accompanied by Mrs. Pavlina Lozanova, Secretary of the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee.
On 11 November 2021, a high-level delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE PA) visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended the webinar titled “Cultural Tourism and Digital Transformation in the BSEC Region and Beyond: Lessons learned in the context of Covid-19 Pandemic” that took place on 10 November 2021.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) Parliamentary Meeting, organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in cooperation with the United Kingdom Group of the IPU, in Glasgow, on 7 November 2021.
Ms. Maria Alexandra Kefala, Vice-Chair of the PABSEC Economic, Commercial and Financial Affairs Committee (Greece), represented the PABSEC at the 40th Session of the Baltic Assembly, which took place in Vilnius (Lithuania) on 4-5 November 2021.
Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, attended the Online Conference entitled “Current Security Challenges: Focus on Afghanistan”, which was organized under the auspices of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly’s 19th Autumn Meeting, on 4 November 2021.
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General attended the virtual conference titled “Marine Litter in the Danube and the Black Sea region: concrete proposals from the regions” that took place on 4 November 2021.

On 27-28 October 2021, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to the capital of the Republic of Albania, Tirana, and had meetings with the leadership of the country. The PABSEC Secretary General was accompanied by Ms. Renata Meto, Secretary of the PABSEC Cultural, Educational and Social Affairs Committee.
