On 20 May 2024 Mr. Gheorghe-Vlad Nistor, Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the European Parliament, former Head of the PABSEC Romanian Delegation and former PABSEC Vice-President paid a visit to the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The 63rd Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly was held in Tirana on 14-15 May 2024 upon the invitation of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania.
Meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee were held on 13 May 2024 in Tirana and was chaired by Ms. Lindita Nikolla, PABSEC President, Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania.

On 8 May 2024, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, and Mr. Daniel Dulca, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, took part in the 5th Coordination Meeting of the Parliamentary Assemblies, which was organized in Istanbul by the Program Office of the UN Office for Counter-Terrorism (UNOCT) with the support of the Shura Council of the State Qatar and in cooperation with the Chairman of the Coordination Mechanism - OSCE PA.
On 8 May 2024, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States, visited the PABSEC headquarters in Istanbul and met with the Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
On 30 April 2024, Mr. Kosta Bajraba, Head of the Cabinet of the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The 62nd Meeting of the PABSEC Committee on Economic and Development Policy was held in Zonguldak (Türkiye) on 27-28 April 2024 upon the invitation of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye. The Meeting was attended by national delegations from Albania, Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
