Visit of the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States to the PABSEC headquarters, Istanbul, 8 May 2024
On 8 May 2024, Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organisation of Turkic States, visited the PABSEC headquarters in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the conversation, the PABSEC Secretary General informed about the current activities of the PABSEC and the preparatory work for the General Assembly in Tirana on 13-15 May 2024. Mr. Hajiyev also emphasized constructive cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Turkic States (TURKPA) and informed the guest about the activities of the Organization and upcoming events, spoke about the development of cooperation between Member States and neighbouring regions.
The Secretary General of the OTS thanked the PABSEC Secretary General for the hospitality and informed about the current activities of the Organization of Turkic States and noted the importance of strengthening cooperation between the PABSEC, the OTS and TURKPA.
