Visit of Mr. Samil Ayrim, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 30 September 2024
On 30 September 2024, Member of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye from Istanbul from the Justice and Development Party visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Secretary General informed the guest about the results of the International Black Sea-Rize-Ayder Forum on “Logistics and Transport in the Black Sea Region”, which was held in Rize on 28-29 September 2024 with the participation of representatives of the PABSEC, the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat, the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank (BSTDB), the Union of Road Transport Associations in the BSEC Region (BSEC-URTA), as well as representatives of the business community and local authorities. The Secretary General underlined the importance of this event and noted that it was decided to hold this Forum every year on a regular basis. The Secretary General also briefly informed about the planned activities of the PABSEC.
Mr. Samil Ayrim welcomed the successful organisation of the International Forum in Rize and thanked the Secretary General for his participation and support. He also expressed hope that the Turkish delegation to PABSEC will continue to make a constructive contribution to the activities of the Assembly.
