Visit of Mr. Alexey Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 14 November 2022
On 14 November 2022, Mr. Alexei Shved, Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the meeting, the PABSEC Secretary General presented brief information on the current activities of the PABSEC, on the work of the three PABSEC Committees, as well as on the organization of the 60th PABSEC General Assembly, which will be held in Belgrade on 7-8 December 2022. The Secretary General also emphasized that the Assembly set up a new Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee, which at the First meeting on the sidelines of the 60th General Assembly will elect its leadership. The observer status of the House of Representatives and the Council of the Republic of Belarus in the PABSEC was also discussed, and the hope was expressed that the issue of the observer status of the Republic of Belarus in the BSEC Organization will be resolved soon.
The Consul General expressed confidence that the cooperation between the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus and the PABSEC will be strengthened.
