Visit of Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Foundation to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 10 September 2019
Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul, on 10 September 2019 and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
During the meeting, Mr. Akkan Suver congratulated the PABSEC Secretary General on his re-election and wished him success in his future work. He also informed the PABSEC Secretary General about the activities of the Marmara Group Foundation and extended the invitation to the 23rd Eurasian Economic Summit to be held in Istanbul on 7-9 April 2020. He also expressed the interest of the Foundation in institutionalizing relations between the PABSEC and the Marmara Group Foundation.
The PABSEC Secretary General thanked the guest for the visit and informed about the results of the 53rd PABSEC General Assembly held in Baku on 19-21 June 2019, as well as about the current and future activities of the Assembly within the framework of the Bulgarian PABSEC Presidency. It was noted that the PABSEC representatives participate in various events organized by the Marmara Group Foundation on a permanent basis and that enhancing cooperation will be useful for both organizations.
