Visit of Mr. Bulent Arinc, Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 19 December 2022
On 19 December 2022, Mr. Bulent Arinc, Former Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Former Deputy Prime Minister of Türkiye, and Former Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Secretary General informed Mr. Arinc about the current developments in PABSEC and the results of the recent PABSEC General Assembly held on 6-8 December in Belgrade. He also informed about the future plans of the Assembly and several celebration events on the occasion of the 30th PABSEC anniversary which will take place during the PABSEC Turkish Presidency.
Mr. Bulent Arinc expressed satisfaction with the fact that the PABSEC is useful platform and is gaining strength over the years. He also expressed hope for further strengthening the partnership in the region for the benefit of the peoples in the region and wished success to the Assembly at the new stage of activities.
