Participation of the PABSEC Secretary General in the 41st Meeting of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the 2nd Meeting of the ICAPP Business Council, 27-30 May 2024, Bangkok, Thailand
On 27-30 May 2024, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, took part in the 41st Meeting of the Standing Committee of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) and the 2nd Meeting of the ICAPP Business Council, upon the invitation of the ruling party of Thailand “Pheu Thai”.
The event was attended by the members of parliaments, representatives of parliamentary assemblies and political parties of Asian countries, who exchanged views on political and economic life in Asia-Oceanian countries and on the development of inter-parliamentary cooperation in this region.
On the sidelines of the Meeting, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Ambassador Kwon Hee Seog, ICAPP Secretary General, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the aim of strengthening cooperation between the PABSEC and the ICAPP in the future.
