Participation of the PABSEC International Secretariat in the Balkans & Black Sea Forum “Executive Roundtable 2023”, Athens, 5 July 2023
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the Balkans & Black Sea Forum “Executive Roundtable 2023” which took place in Athens on 5 July 2023.
The Balkans & Black Sea Forum “executive roundtable” brought together visionary policymakers, diplomats and businesses to review challenges, assess implications, identify opportunities, and promote bi-/multi-lateral cooperation across the region. Restricted to experts and selected audiences by invitation only, it has been provided space for open, sincere, and out-of-the-box dialogue and debate.
The “Executive Roundtable 2023” highlighted “The role of Greece in the Balkan & Black Sea region” and focused on how Greece could contribute to the region, politically and economically, in four specific pillars: Energy, Innovation-Economics-Environment, Connectivity-Infrastructure, Intercultural cooperation.

The four chapters of discussion were dedicated to: a/ Energy sector, b/ Innovation-Technologies, Economics, Environment, c/ Connectivity, Mobility, Infrastructure, d/ Soft power, Intercultural cooperation.
