Visit of the Consul General of the Republic of North Macedonia in Istanbul to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 16 June 2022
On 16 June 2022, Mr. Aktan Ago, Consul General of the Republic of North Macedonia in Istanbul, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The Secretary General briefly informed the guest on the current activities of the PABSEC and noted that the autumn meetings will be held in physical presence. It was emphasized that the accession of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia to the PABSEC as a full-fledged member, opens new possibilities for enhancing the interparliamentary cooperation in the region.
The Consul General expressed the hope for developing strong ties among the parliaments in the region, in the PABSEC framework, wishing success in the activities of the Assembly.
