Visit of the Consul General of the Republic of North Macedonia in Istanbul to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 19 November 2020
On 19 November 2020, Mr. Aktan Ago, Consul General of the Republic of North Macedonia in Istanbul, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
At this meeting, the Secretary General presented brief information on the PABSEC and its activities. It was emphasized that the accession of the Republic of North Macedonia to the BSEC Organization as a full member opens up the opportunity for the parliament of this country to become a full member of the PABSEC.
The Consul General expressed the interest of the Parliament of the Republic of North Macedonia in establishing strong cooperation with the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation. The procedure for the accession of the new members to the PABSEC was discussed.
