Participation of the PABSEC International Secretariat in the Balkans Black Sea Forum 2022, Athens, 13 – 14 December 2022
Mr. Miltiadis Makrygiannis, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, participated in the 4th edition of the Balkans and Black Sea Forum, entitled “The Eurasian nexus post 2022: high-stakes arena for security, trade and investments”, held in Athens Acropolis Museum on 13 – 14 December 2022.
The Balkans & Black Sea Forum is a flagship independent economic platform and a key Summit for leading business and policy-makers committed to enhancing stability, growth and cooperation across the Balkan and Black Sea regions.
More than 30 leading international speakers and political and business representatives from the Balkans, the Black Sea countries, China, Europe, the U.S.A. and Turkey, discussed political, geostrategic and business initiatives, partnerships and innovative practices about the Economy, Energy, Environment, Tourism, Education and Innovation, Women in Leadership etc.
The event included six chapters, namely Energy supply & security - Environmental commitments; Innovation, Technology, Financing, Investments at serving society; Regional cooperation-integration based on the economic geography of the regions; Connectivity & Infrastructure, the growing need for new investments; Investing in gender innovation to build sustainable economies; Global convulsions and their impact on the Balkans and the Black Sea region.
