The 59th Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Education and Social Affairs Committee, 13 October 2022
The 59th Meeting of the PABSEC Cultural, Education and Social Affairs Committee was held online on 13 October 2022 with the technical support of the Parliament of the Republic of Albania.
The Meeting was attended by the national delegations of Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Greece, the Republic of Moldova, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine, as well as a representative of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Musa Guliyev, Chairman of the Committee (Azerbaijan).
The Committee approved the draft Report and Recommendation 187/2022 “Social Impact of the Refugee Crisis in the BSEC Member States”, which will be submitted for consideration by the Sixtieth Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly.
The Committee took note of the information on the current activities of the BSEC Organization presented by Ms. Sandra Vujnovic, Executive Director of the BSEC Permanent International Secretariat.
The next 60th Meeting of the Committee will be held in the Republic of Moldova on 22-23 March 2023. The main subject will be “The Role of Mass Media in Socio-Economic Development of the BSEC Member States”. Mr. Victor Spinu, Member of the PABSEC Moldovan Delegation, has been appointed Rapporteur for the Report.
