Visit of Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Mr. Fuat Küçükaydın, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, to Mr. İsmail KAHRAMAN, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, Ankara, 2 May 2018
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General and Mr. Fuat Küçükaydın, PABSEC Deputy Secretary General, paid a visit in Ankara, on 2 May 2018, to Mr. İsmail KAHRAMAN, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey (GNAT). Mr. Ramazan Can, PABSEC Vice-President and Head of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, Mr. Mehmet Ali Kumbuzoğlu, Secretary General of the GNAT and Mr. Necati Öztürk, Acting Head of the Foreign Relations and Protocol Department of the GNAT, also participated in the meeting.
At the meeting, the PABSEC Secretary General provided detailed information on the preparations for the Summit of the Speakers of the BSEC Member States, dedicated to the PABSEC 25th Anniversary, to be held in Istanbul, on 15-16 May 2018 and requested the opinion and the proposal of the GNAT Speaker.
The GNAT Speaker, Mr. İsmail Kahraman, made some observations regarding the prepation of such a comprehensive and detailed programme and appreciated Mr. Hajiyev for his involvement for the success of this special event. Being informed about the high level participation of the Speakers of the Member States in the Summit, Mr. Kahraman stated that Turkey will continue, in the same way, its active support to the PABSEC.
This constructive and useful meeting ended with the bilateral goodwill wishes and exchange of gifts.
