Visit of Mr. Aleksandre Jishkariani, Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul, to the PABSEC International Secretariat, Istanbul, 16 October 2023.
On 16 October 2023, Mr. Aleksandre Jishkariani, Consul General of Georgia in Istanbul, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
The PABSEC Secretary General thanked the Consul General of Georgia for the visit and wished him success in his future professional activities. He informed about the work of the PABSEC, the structure of the Assembly and the activities of the PABSEC committees. It was noted that in November within the framework of the Ukrainian PABSEC Presidency in Kyiv will be held the 62nd PABSEC General Assembly, and before that, two meetings of the PABSEC committees are planned to be held in Istanbul - the PABSEC Legal and Political Affairs Committee and the PABSEC Technological and Environmental Affairs Committee. The PABSEC Secretary General underlined the significant contribution of the Parliament of Georgia and the Georgian delegation to the PABSEC activities.
The Consul General of Georgia thanked the PABSEC Secretary General for his warm welcome and expressed hope for constructive cooperation in the future.
