The 64th Plenary Session of the PABSEC General Assembly was held in Yerevan on 11-12 December 2024 in a hybrid format upon the invitation of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The parliamentary delegations of Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Georgia, Greece, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Türkiye and Ukraine participated in the work of the General Assembly.
The meetings of the Bureau of the Assembly and the Standing Committee were held on 10 December 2024 in Yerevan, in a hybrid format, chaired by Mr. Alen Simonyan, PABSEC President, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
On 1 December 2024, the PABSEC Monitoring Delegation consisting of Ms. Blagica Lasovska, Head of the PABSEC Delegation of North Macedonia, Mr. Mustafa Hamarat, Vice-Chair of the PABSEC Committee for Legal Affairs and International Cooperation, Member of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, Ms. Bleta Biljali, Secretary of the PABSEC Delegation of North Macedonia, and Ms. Fikriye Yakistiran, Secretary of the PABSEC Turkish Delegation, took part in the observation mission for the parliamentary elections in Romania.

On 28 November 2024, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences in Sofia and met with its President, PABSEC Special Representative to the Organizations on Science and Education, Academician Julian Revalski.

The 12th General Assembly of the International Conference of Asian Political Parties (ICAPP) organized by the Cambodian People's Party (CPP), were held in Phnom Penh on 21-24 November 2024. More than 200 delegates from 57 political parties from 42 countries, as well as representatives of international organizations, took part in the four-day work of the Assembly.
On 20 November 2024, Mr. Akkan Suver, President of the Marmara Group Strategic and Social Research Foundation, visited the PABSEC International Secretariat in Istanbul and met with Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General.
Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, participated in the 29th Session of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29), which was held in Baku from 11 to 22 November 2024. On November 16-17, within the framework of the 29th Session of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP29), a Parliamentary Meeting was held, jointly organized by the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
On 6 November 2024, Mr. Asaf Hajiyev, PABSEC Secretary General, paid a working visit to Tirana and had meetings with the President of the Republic of Albania, in the Parliament of the Republic of Albania, and at the University of Tirana. The Secretary General was accompanied by Ms. Renata Meto, Secretary of the PABSEC Committee on Social and Humanitarian Policy.
